Yamakoshi Connecting Hearts Project
New Updates of Shiiba Village and Tenryukyo
■ Yamakoshi Connecting Hearts Project
As previously covered in our newsletter, this year marks the 20th anniversary of the Chuetsu Earthquake, and under the title of “Connecting Hearts Project” we have been collecting warm messages from people who have been supporting and loving Yamakoshi. Thank you very much for the many heartfelt messages we received. Your voices will be a great encouragement for the future of the community.

■ New Updates of Shiiba Village and Tenryukyo
In two new Local DAO regions, Shiiba (Miyazaki Prefecture) and Tenryukyo (Nagano Prefecture), the actual NFT discussions are underway.
In Shiiba, the motif selected for this project is “Kagura,” the traditional culture of Shiiba. Kagura is a sacred performance dance that has taken root in the region since long ago and symbolizes a deep connection with the gods. The background and details of the process were written by the founder, Kenta Murakami, who lives in Shiiba, in a blog post, and the English version will be published in the next newsletter.
In another region, Tenryukyo in Nagano Prefecture, newly approved as a Local DAO, the project is also making steady progress. The Tenryukyo NFT, a digital resident ID card for Tenryukyo, is scheduled to go on sale earlier than the NFT for Shiiba.
Along with the “NFT sale date (scheduled for November 22)” and “Artist (raf)” for this Tenryukyo NFT, we have also published a blog about the future vision of the region that Tenryukyo is striving for, which we will also release in our next newsletter!
