The News of the Week:
IRL Event in Yamakoshi
Secretary of State Visiting Yamakoshi
■ IRL Event in Yamakoshi
We had a year-end party and social gathering in Yamakoshi on December 14, which we did last year as well. This year, more than 40 people, including both digital villagers and local residents, applied and joined the event. Also Discord was available to connect in real time with those who could not make it.
■ Secretary of State Visiting Yamakoshi
On December 3, Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Abe and Parliamentary Secretary Akamatsu visited Yamakoshi. Despite the rainy weather, the visit was a valuable opportunity for the two officials to see firsthand the current situation in Yamakoshi and the Nishikigoi NFT's activities. It was very significant that they were able to engage in a lively exchange of opinions with local residents and other related parties and gain a deeper understanding of the current situation and challenges in Yamakoshi.
Yamakoshi is currently attracting attention as a testing location for Mynawallet, which utilizes the My number Card, and Yamakoshi's challenges with Local DAO and Mynawallet are likely to become a model case for other regions as well, so we hope that you will keep an eye on future developments.
