■ Meetup in Yamakoshi
We had a meetup in Yamakoshi from the 9th through 10th to celebrate the "Neo-Yamakoshi Village (former Yamakoshi DAO)" passed by community vote last month and to thank all the digital and real villagers for their support over the past year.
On the 10th, we’ve called for questions that we actually wanted to ask the residents of Yamakoshi, and the plastic bans of the villagers who came to participate have been displayed at Orataru (Yamakoshi Reconstruction Exchange Center).
■ Nishikigoi NFT New Year's Meetup in Tokyo
Following the meetup in Yamakoshi, we are so excited to announce that we will be holding another meetup event in Tokyo next month, January 20th 2024. We have invited a variety of people from the local community, digital villagers, and people working in various fields to participate which consists of an online talk conference and an offline meetup.

■ DAO Rule Making Hackathon
On December 6th, the 4th DAO Rule Making Hackathon took place by the government to discuss how the law regarding DAOs should be implemented here in Japan, and 5 digital villagers from Neo Yamakoshi Village including Haruka Takeuchi were participating. This fourth round mainly focused on hearings for those projects that are focused on local community revitalization and development.
The overall agenda included various issues related to DAOs, such as legal structure, taxation, registrations, anonymity and so on. Mr. Masaaki Taira, a member of the House of Representatives and chairman of the web3PT (LDP Digital Society Promotion Headquarters), who we had a conversation with recently at the X space, was also there, and showed strong interest not only in the rules but also in tax system reform.
■ Nishikigoi NFT POKKE Card
From this week, "Nishikigoi NFT Card" is available at ORATAR, Yamakoshi's Reconstruction Exchange Center. This is an interactive NFC hardware wallet called POKKE (formerly known as NFTag).
Now people can mint Nishikigoi NFTs by simply touching this Nishikigoi NFT card to your mobile phone. Until now, there were some difficulties for those who are not familiar with Web3, such as "managing cryptocurrency" and " making a wallet address". The Nishikigoi NFT card here removes those problems and allows anyone to be a digital villager. They are available at Orataru in Yamakoshi village.
■ Moving into Public Mint Price
As it has been about six months since the third mint of Nishikigoi NFT, we announce that we’ve made a decision that all the mint including AL spots and holder spots will be changed to the public price (0.03ETH) after January 20th.
If you have an AL spot or a holder spot but yet to mint, we hope that you will take this opportunity to join us!
People Who might be Affected by This:
Those who have an "allowlist" spot but haven't minted the third mint yet.
Those who have a "holder" spot but haven't minted the third mint yet.
How Will it Change:
All mints will be changed to 0.03ETH
Wen Will This Happen?:
Scheduled in January 20th.
